Day 3
Today we left the hotel in Presidente Figueiredo and drove to Manaus early in the morning. We arrived in Manaus after about 2 hours and went to CIGS, which is a Brazilian army center for war in the jungle which is one of the most important zoos in Brazil because it has 300 animals, from 77 different species, all of them from the Amazon region, some of which are under extinguishing threat. It was really cool to see the animals from the amazon forest and to get kind of close to them in a way you wouldn´t be able to in the wild.
Then we went to eat lunch at a resturant, which was good. After lunch we went to a supermarket to buy snacks and some small gifts for the small children in the village that we´re going to meet in the next days. We had about an hour to buy the things, but when everybody went to pay, some of us ended up waiting up to an hour in the lines and arrived late to the bus, so we had to take a taxi to the hotel.
We have two nights in this hotel which is really beautiful and big and it´s a five star hotel. In the afternoon we had some free time to explore the hotel and its activities like for example the huge pool. For dinner we just had to do whatever we wanted, like order pizza or eat something we bought in the supermarket.
In the night we went to see a show in the hotel with traditional dance from the amazon. They were wearing beautiful costumes and it was really amazing. Near the end we all stood up followed their dance moves and then they invited us to go up on the stage and dance with them. That was a lot of fun.

Dia 3
Hoje saimos do hotel que fica em Presidente Figueiredo e fomos para Manaus cedo de manhã. Chegamos depois de mais ou menos duas horas e fomos ao CIGS (Centro de Instrução de Guerra na Selva) que é um dos zoos mais importantes do Brasil pois tem cerca de 300 animais de 77 espécies. Todos vêm da fauna amazônica e alguns deles estão ameaçados de extinção. Foi muito legal ver os animais da selva amazônica e se aproximar deles de um jeito que não teria sido possível na natureza.
Depois fomos almoçar em um bom restaurante. Depois do almoço fomos para um supermarcado para comprar comida e também alguns presentes para as crianças do povo indígena que vamos visitar nos próximos dias. Tivemos uma hora para comprar as coisas mas quando fomos nos caixas para pagar alguns de nós tiveram que esperar até uma hora nas filas, assim chegamos atrasados no ponto de encontro e tivemos que pegar um táxi para voltar ao hotel.
Ficamos duas noites neste hotel cinco estrelas muito lindo e imenso. A tarde tivemos um tempo livre para explorar o hotel e as atividades como a enorme piscina. O jantar foi livre.

A noite assistimos um show de dança tradicional da Amazônia no hotel. As roupas tradicionais e as danças foram incríveis. Perto do final todos nós nos levantamos seguindo os passos de dança e em seguida eles nos convidaram para subir ao palco e dançar com eles. Isso foi muito divertido.
