Day 4
Our fourth day started with dividing the group into two, with the same program but a different chronology. So we were visiting INPA, an institution which gave us a better understanding of the Amazon, the animals living there and a view of indigenous culture before the European influence.
Between this and the following activities we had a great meal to regain some energy.
Our fourth day started with dividing the group into two, with the same program but a different chronology. So we were visiting INPA, an institution which gave us a better understanding of the Amazon, the animals living there and a view of indigenous culture before the European influence.
Between this and the following activities we had a great meal to regain some energy.
Another awesome impression was the "Teatro Amazonas", the Opera House in Manaus. An old building that was constructed during the Manaus’ richest period, during the time Manaus was the only exporteur of rubber in the whole world, creating a building showing the wealth of it’s owners.
Right after that our group was overrunning the "Mercado Municipal", Manaus’ central market, to buy a whole lot of souvenirs, traditional Amazon medicines or just some food for the next days out of town.

In the evening we finished the day with a few hours of freetime in the hotel, using the pool, playing soccer, volleyball or just relaxing, talking, and eating a piece of pizza.

Dia 4
Nosso quarto dia começou com a divisão do grupo em dois, com a mesma programação mas uma cronologia diferente. Então fomos visitar o INPA, instituto que nos deu uma melhor compreensão da Amazônia, os animais que vivem aqui e uma visão da cultura indígena antes da influência Européia.
Entre isso e as atividades seguintes tivemos uma grande refeição para recuperar um pouco de energia.
Uma outra impressão incrível foi o Teatro Amazonas, um prédio antigo que foi construído durante a época mais rica de Manaus quando essa cidade era o único explorador de borracha no mundo, construindo um prédio que mostrasse as riquezas da época.
Imediatamente depois disso o grupo foi para o Mercado Central de Manaus para comprar muitas lembranças, remédios naturais da Amazônia ou simplesmente comida para os próximos dias.
Mais tarde voltamos para o hotel onde brincamos na piscina, jogamos futebol ou vôlei, ou relaxamos comendo uma fatia de pizza.
